Your Friend, My Friend and BigStyle have teamed up to bring together 32 singles for an exclusive weekend escape in the west of Ireland.

Two days to completely unwind and meet new people (all single) at Big Style’s beautiful lodge, set against the backdrop of the rugged mountain scenery and stunning isolated beaches.

Total cost for the weekend: €435 per person.

The Experience

  • Surfing.

    There will be surf lessons and rentals provided. The local beaches are perfect spots for learning and the team will do everything they can to get you standing on your first wave.

  • Yoga

    Start the day off right with a morning yoga class every day before breakfast in The Lodge's brand new yoga room with a spectacular view over the Atlantic.

  • Hiking

    The lodge is situated next to the magnificent Killadoon Hill, perfect for a hike. Offering panoramic views of the surrounding area the expedition usually ends with a sea swim down on Killadoon Beach. 

  • Amazing Food

    Serving up delicious and healthy (mainly vegetarian) meals, we promise you won’t be missing meat this weekend. With wood fired sourdough pizza, we’ll satisfy even the most picky foody.

  • Rooms

    Ensuite hotel rooms with warm wooden furniture and rustic surf aesthetic combine to create an inviting luxury experience in the West of Ireland.

  • P Dan's Pub

    Cosy up at The Lodge's onsite Traditional Irish pub, the ideal place to grab a pint and get to know someone a bit better and listen to live music.

There will be a total of 32 singles attending the getaway (16 male and 16 female) The weekend is about building connection, getting to know everyone, making friendships and hopefully finding a romantic connection.

A quick outline.

Arriving down on Friday afternoon and leaving Sunday afternoon we’ll have two nights and one and a half days of craic and adventure. Every room is ensuite, all our delicious food will be included as will all daytime and evening activities – the only thing you’ll need to put your hand in your pocket for is a few pints in P Dans, our on site pub.

  • 2 nights in one of our ensuite rooms

  • 2 x 2 hour surf lessons

  • 1 x 2 hour hike with spectacular views

  • 2 x morning yoga classes

  • 2 x breakfasts

  • 1 x lunch

  • 2 x dinners

  • Homemade snacks, tea and coffee throughout the day

  • 1 x 1 hour spa sessions

  • Activities both evenings: Bonfires, live tunes, and a few pints in our on site pub P Dans.

Cost for the weekend: €435 per person

Good to know.

  • Two nights accommodation in either double or twin ensuite rooms

    Yoga classes throughout the weekend, 2 x breakfasts, 1 x lunch, 2 x dinners, All activities and equipment (activities will be decided according to the weather): Surfing, Hiking, Loads of craic, No hidden costs.

  • Transport down. No problem for drivers and we can direct to you the best local taxi’s from the train station and back.

    Alcoholic beverages – but there’ll be plenty of opportunities to stock up in an off-licence or enjoy a creamy pint of black stuff in our onsite pub P.Dans.

  • We suggest an age range of singles in their mid 20s to late 30s

  • The rooms at the Lodge are thoughtfully designed and made up of singles, doubles, triples and dorms. You will likely be sharing a room with others, ladies will be in a room with other women and the men with men.

    It's a great way to get to know your fellow singles and form this strong connections.

  • Booze, Swimwear, Beach Towel, Wetsuit if you have one, Warm & comfy clothes for after beach/hiking etc

  • Self Drive
    It’s just under 4 hours from Dublin and Cork and under 2 hours from Galway, so getting here by self drive is very manageable and there’s plenty of parking. 

    Train and Bus
    Westport train station is only 35 minutes from the lodge and there’s a great train service to Dublin several times a day, there are also plenty of bus services that run to Westport daily from different parts of the country. Whatever way you get to westport on Arrival we can help arrange a taxi to take you to the lodge. 

  • Email us in the inquiry with your name, DOB, male/female and any questions. If there is availability, we will then send on a payment link to secure your spot.

  • You cancel your booking 15 days or more prior to your arrival date, you will receive a 100% refund. If you cancel your booking 14 days or less prior to your arrival date, you will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made 48 hours or less before check-in time are non-refundable.
