By booking a place at the YFMF Singles Getaway, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Please note our cancellation terms below:

• Full refund available until April 18th, 2025

• Between April 18th–25th, €30 admin fee applies

• After April 25th, bookings are non-refundable

• All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to hello@yourfriendmyfriend.ie. Refunds will be processed within 7 working days.

Liability & Safety for Watersports and Activities

Safety is a top priority throughout the Singles Getaway. Watersports and outdoor activities can involve risk. By participating, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with these activities.

Participants must:

• Be in general good health and ensure that the activities are within their abilities.

• Disclose any medical conditions at the time of booking or prior to participation in any activity.

• Follow all safety instructions given by staff or instructors at all times.

• Sign a Health Declaration in advance of the event.

The companies involved in delivering the getaway reserve the right to refuse participation on medical grounds or if safety protocols are not followed.

Medical Attention

In the event of illness or injury, participants consent to the administration of basic First Aid by a qualified member of staff or emergency treatment by a medical professional, if necessary.

Activity & Schedule Changes

Activities, including watersports and hikes, are weather dependent and may be subject to change. The organisers and service providers reserve the right to adjust the schedule or substitute activities if necessary due to safety or operational considerations.

Behaviour Policy

Participants are expected to be respectful, considerate, and cooperative throughout the weekend.

The organisers reserve the right to remove any individual from an activity or the event if their behaviour poses a risk to themselves, others, or the property, or causes undue disruption or distress. This includes but is not limited to excessive intoxication, offensive behaviour, or the use of illegal substances.

No refunds will be issued in the event of removal due to misconduct. Participants are liable for any damage caused.

Insurance

The companies involved carry public liability and employers’ liability insurance. Copies of insurance policies are available upon request.

Photography & Media

Photographs and/or videos may be taken throughout the weekend and used in promotional materials, including on social media and our website.

If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please notify the team in writing before the event or on arrival.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property, including content, branding, images, and materials related to YFMF events, remains the sole property of Your Friend, My Friend and associated providers. Reproduction or use of any materials without permission is not permitted.
